Hello beautiful people!! I’m a fourth-year Biological Sciences major with a minor in Psychological Science. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, talking to my neighbors, and designing my home (in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, of course!). ALSO, I like to watch cute dog videos and variety channels on YouTube, do online shopping, and practice photography (mostly using my dog as the model hehe). I came across the M.E.M.O. booth during AIF three years ago, not realizing at the time that it would be one of the BEST decisions that I’ve made in college. I came into the club with a passion to serve the community and got from it a sense of community among a group of fun, QUIRKY individuals! Hopefully, you’ll join M.E.M.O. and find your home here as well <3 Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about our club, UCI, or anything in general! I’m always here for you! Looking forward to our time together this year (◕▿◕✿)

Hello!!!! I am a fourth-year Biological Sciences major! Something fun about me is that I love exploring new foods and views. My favorite food is sushi but I like pretty much every type of food except eggplant. Feel free to start a conversation with me whenever you see me! I love exchanging knowledge, especially about hobbies and anything food-related! I came out to M.E.M.O. because I felt really lonely during the first couple weeks of college. The first time I came to a meeting 3 years ago, I felt so welcomed by everyone in the club and I felt like I made my first genuine connection at UCI. Eventually, one event after the other, I became attached to the people in my club 🙂 So if you're reading this because you're debating on whether you should check us out, please give us a shot 🙂 Anyways, I am looking forward to being one of your board members for the 2020-2021 year!

Hey y’all!!! I am a fourth year Pharmaceutical science major with a *slight* chipotle obsession! I go by Ngozi but my good friends call me ‘the funniest person ever’ so feel free to call me if it is easier to pronounce. My favorite hobbies are eating, cooking, and eating the food that I cooked. When I’m not eating, you might catch me working out, watching NBA games or online shopping for shoes that I may or may not be able to afford! I first heard about M.E.M.O. from a friend and I was so hesitant to join because I didn’t have much luck with some of the other clubs on campus, BUT deciding to go with her was the best decision I’ve made *EVER*. At my first M.E.M.O. meeting, the MEMObers were SO SO welcoming and really made an effort to get to know me, a quality that really stood out to me. This along with M.E.M.O.’s perfect combination of healthcare-centered volunteer opportunities, socials and fundraisers (as we know how much I love to eat) kept me coming back every week. The people I have met in this club have not only made me a better student, but also a more outgoing and (I hope) a better person overall. So, if you are thinking about joining, THIS IS THE SIGN. Grab a friend and come make MEMOries with us!

Hi there! I’m a 4th year Public Health Sciences major who luuvs anything red bean! I enjoy going on hikes, watching cdramas/kdramas, reading manga/manhua/manhwas, travelling to different places, and trying new foods! I also love to play tennis (feel free to hit me up)! I can still clearly remember when I first went to a M.E.M.O. meeting in the beginning of the Winter Quarter of my Freshmen Year. I was initially introduced to this club through my friends and did not know what to expect. At that time, I was also super shy and was still trying to get used to college life. I had lots of worries, but after attending my 1st college club meeting and social, I was utterly amazed at how welcoming the MEMObers made me feel. All my worries were blown away before I knew it, as I got to meet and talk to a bunch of individuals who share the same passion for helping others. In addition to the club having the most warm-hearted people, I am glad that I stayed in M.E.M.O. because little-did-I-know, the club has so much to offer! I got to volunteer, scream on Ring Road during fundraisers, participate in socials, and be on a dance team! Of course, through M.E.M.O., you can do these things (and many more) too!

Hello hello! I’m Jenny & an incoming fourth year Biological Sciences major with a minor in Psychology. If you asked my friends what they knew about me, they would reply that I am a top fan of bread and corn so hmu if you’re trying to raid your local pastry shops or find the Elote Man!! I also LOve dOggOs - please send me pictures of your adorable puppers and I will love you forever. Besides that, I love traveling and exploring new places with views, hiking, listening to music, and eating delicious foods, so join M.E.M.O. and we can be foodies together (pls,,, i need fwends D:)! I have an addictive personality so you can probably find me in the corner binging animes/kdramas all night, fighting Calamity Ganon in Legend of Zelda: BOTW, or watching Netflix shows like the Great British Baking Show, and i’m always open to trying new things!

One thing I found out about MEMO is that it’s never too late to join -- no matter what year/major you’re in, MEMO welcomes everyone with open arms and they make an effort to ensure you feel a part of the organization. When I first joined, I was just looking for a club with volunteer opportunities to get involved in, but I ended up staying because I found a home away from home here with some of the most amazing and hardest working people I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. You get out what you put in, so don’t be afraid to get involved and make some life-long MEMOrable experiences - with that being said, apply for our intern program, I triple dog-dare you! I’m looking forward to another year of amazing MEMOries and meeting all of you! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

What’s up everybody? I’m a 4th year Biological Sciences major and I would say I’m a pretty nerdy guy. I like to watch anime and read manga. My favorite anime is The Disastrous Life of Saiki K because it is one of the funniest things I have ever watched and let me know what you like because I'm open to a lot of things. I try to be active by working out, playing sports, or riding my bike around my area because my goal is to stay fit, so that even when I am 40 years old I can run long distances and lift. I heard about M.E.M.O. from a friend and learned more about it during the Anteater Involvement Fair during the summer. At first, I was most interested in the mission trip to Vietnam that helped the impoverished because of my background, but this started to change as I went to more meetings and became more active in the club. The service events like Project S.H.U.E. and the O.C. Health Fair offered great chances to give back to your community and gather some experiences working with many different people. I found that there were really great people in this club that were easy to talk to and I felt that they became my good friends. The people here are very welcoming and I hope that when you join you can find MEMOrable experiences as well.

Nice to meet you, please call me Sam! :3 I am a 4th year Biological Sciences major who has too many hobbies to count: doodling, embroidering, polymer clay, lettering, thrifting, makeup, running, swimming, stanning BTS, Stardew Valley… and so on! I also love catching up with friends and making new ones- and so brings me to how I became a part of M.E.M.O. One somber evening after class, I was ready to go home and sleep but a friend dragged me to a M.E.M.O. meeting. The people I met that night melted away my shyness and became some of my dearest friends whom I can’t imagine my time at UCI without! I’ll never forget the laugh-till-you-cry moments at socials, informative workshops, scrumptious fundraisers, interning, dancing for our annual Open Our Hearts Gala, and volunteering at Project S.H.U.E. (personal fave). I hope we can be friends and have an awesome time in M.E.M.O. together, I can’t wait!!

Hi everyone!!! My friends call me Elaine, just Elaine (LOL)! I am a 2nd year Biological Sciences major with a minor in Psychological Sciences. I’m a 24/7 Daydreamer and music is in my blood. I really enjoy playing the piano, the violin, and the ukulele. Mention about kpop or kdramas, I won’t stop talking about them (oh no here she goes again). You may be wondering how I jumped into the M.E.M.O. bandwagon in the fall of my freshman year. Well, it is because I was immediately drawn to some of the most passionate and kind people who have similar dreams and goals as I do. It’s a fuzzy feeling knowing that there are people like you--with heart-rich dreams and goals-- in M.E.M.O. I get to share my passions with everyone in M.E.M.O by: yelling “HOT SPAM MUSUBI'' on Ring Road during fundraisers, volunteering for the local, underserved communities, and learning A LOT from the MANY medical- and career-related guest speakers at meetings. Being a part of MEMO helped me create new relationships with other students, health professionals, medical school students, and more. I am just one person who joined a large, interconnected M.E.M.O. family, and you never know if it’ll become your second family at UCI <3.

Hey Y’all! I’m a 4th year Neurobiology major with a MEMO’s famous spam musubi minor (obsession)! In my free time, I like doing oddball things like fishkeeping as well as eating fish… But they are mutually exclusive; I don’t eat my pets c: Memes also fuel my life, especially dog ones so please send my way some if you got any good ones. My favorite superhero is Iron Man because Tony Stark is a genius for building such an amazing suit and you would also be a genius if you joined MEMO. What's the similarity? MEMO definitely got me hooked through helping others around me and finding a home in college, just like Stark used his suit to help others around him as well as find a home (The Avengers). MEMO stands out amongst other college clubs because we do everything student-run. This means that we work alongside (not under) doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and other professionals and in the end, we, the college students, rally every penny and every manpower to help our causes. So the most memorable and nostalgic thing that keeps me in MEMO is at the end of night of our annual fundraising galas where everyone is so tired yet ecstatic from the whole year's contribution leading up to this one moment of fruition. Everyone’s thoughts that night is, “OMG. This successfully happened through us. Through our hands we’ve fundraised this much money for our programs. OMG…” Join, and you’ll be amazed at how much MEMO can help the world just by the hands of some determined college students.

Howdy my fellow anteaters!! My name is Jaehyuk. If that was too hard for you to pronounce, I also go by Tom or Tommy:) I am a 4th year Bio sci major who likes to pretend to be fashionable. My hobbies are browsing through clothes and shoes, watching movies, scribbling whatever comes into my mind and listening to music (play any Travis Scott song and I can guess it in 5 seconds BET). If your hobbies match any of these above, I believe we can be best buddies! I first joined M.E.M.O. with hopes to get medical extracurricular opportunities, nothing less, nothing more. When I first heard about M.E.M.O., I was really scared to join because I only knew one friend in it. But everyone in M.E.M.O. welcomed me with its heart, and allowed me to make myself at home. This friendliness allowed me to come back to the next meeting, have fun at the socials, and participate in the local school volunteers (Project S.H.U.E.) and health fairs. At the end of the day, I had not only amazing hands-on medical experiences, but also blazing fun doing them with my friends. If you are a shy person as I am, and hesitating whether you should try M.E.M.O. out, trust me and join us. I am sure you will love it more than I did 0:)
