DENTAL PROGRAM

Our dental program provides teeth cleaning, extraction, root canals, and filling to orphanages and rural communities throughout Vietnam. To maintain oral hygiene and avoid future pains or diseases, these procedures provide long-term solutions for these communities. Our dental program also donates toothbrushes to the communities and teach the effective ways to maintain oral hygiene. Timothy Bui, DDS, the dentist who accompanies M.E.M.O. on the mission trip, lends his expertise as he and his dental team treat patients of all ages. Prior to the mission trip, the dental team is extensively trained in order to best meet the dental needs of the patients. Many of the patients we serve do not have the opportunity to visit a dentist and lack general knowledge regarding oral hygiene. Through our program, we hope to equip them with the tools and education necessary to maintain their dental health.
