October MEMOber of the Month

Sofia Madrid

Sofia has been an active MEMOber since winter quarter last year. She consistently attended general meetings and always shows her support for MEMO, whether at socials, MEMO IM Basketball Games, Pandan Waffle & Thai Tea, and Spam Musubi on-campus fundraisers, or at off-campus fundraisers! She recently helped us with a catchy and creative Spam Musubi chant (“”Spam Musubi is hot to go!””)! She also continues to represent our mission statement by volunteering at events such as the OC Health Fair and the Harvest Distribution Center.

November MEMOber of the Month

Claire Nguyen

Claire has been a MEMOber since Fall 2022 and has been active ever since. She exemplifies our mission statement and has consistently shown her support for MEMO. She has volunteered at service events such as SNAP, SHUE, and health fairs, and has also contributed to fundraisers like Pandan Waffle and Spam Musubi. Claire has been a longtime supporter of MEMO Intramural Basketball, and we truly appreciate her dedication to attending the games! Her warm-hearted and friendly nature helps MEMO maintain a welcoming environment for both new and longtime MEMObers alike.

December MEMOber of the Month

Evelyn Le

Evelyn is a new MEMOber and has been active since joining in the fall. She consistently attends our meetings and workshops, fundraisers such as Hyrax Anaheim, service events such as Project Awaken, socials, and even intramural basketball games. Moreover, Evelyn always brings a fun and positive atmosphere such as pubbing at our on-campus fundraisers and offering a helping hand to other MEMObers.

January MEMOber of the Month

Matthew Ruiz

Matthew has been a member since last year and has grown to be an active MEMOber and friendly face for any newcomers! We especially appreciate Matthew speaking Spanish during service events, Project SHUE and Project SNAP, to accommodate Spanish-speaking students and seniors. Moreover, Matthew attends a variety of our events such as ICS and volunteered at our Ring Road Spam Musubi Fundraiser. We also appreciate him always offering to carpool others!

February MEMOber of the Month

Francis Nguyen

Francis has been a member since Fall 2023 as part of our intramural basketball team and has come to be an active MEMOber, attending socials, fundraisers, service events, and general meetings! Francis is still a member of our intramural basketball team and is a Fam Head for the Hourglass Syndicate! We appreciate Francis for being such an active and friendly MEMOber (and constantly pubbing us to your friends)!

April MEMOber of the Month

Nolan Nguyen

Nolan has been an active and committed MEMOber since he joined MEMO this school year. He is on our intramural volleyball team and a Fam Head for the Hourglass Syndicate! Moreover, he consistently attends socials and general meetings, and volunteers at fundraisers and service events, such as Project SNAP. We appreciate Nolan for helping us foster a welcoming environment within MEMO and being committed to our mission!

May MEMOber of the Month

Monica Wang

Since joining this school year, Monica has been active and committed to MEMO! As one of the fam heads for the Wavebreakers, Monica consistently organizes creative socials to create a welcoming and tight knit family. She has also shown her dedication to our mission as by attending service events, such as the Corona Health Fair and Harvest Solutions! She also attends our socials and fundraisers — we appreciate your support Monica!
